Reports
NeuroRest reads the nights your Apple Watch records and turns them into a morning Readiness score, a Sleep score, and a few plain words about how your body is doing. Every number compares you with your own last 60 nights, not with a population average. A 52 ms HRV means something different for you than for anyone else, so that is the only comparison NeuroRest makes.
Built for all-night HRV
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4
These watches measure heart rate variability all night. NeuroRest is built around that: an overnight HRV curve, night-to-night HRV you can trust, and the full recovery picture.
Any other Apple Watch
Older watches take a few HRV readings a night. Readiness, Sleep, heart rate, Overnight Vitals and Daytime Balance all still work. A handful of HRV views need the newer watch, and the app tells you which.
What's in 6.0
6.0 is a complete redesign. One calm, dark design across every screen, three tabs (Today, Wellness and Habits), and a + button for tags, breathing sessions and notes. Today follows your day: mornings lead with your scores and all six night metrics, and in the evening it shifts to a warm wind-down mode with a countdown to your usual bedtime.
Readiness
Each morning, from your sleeping heart rate, your lowest heart rate and your overnight HRV, each against your last 60 nights. Choose what drives it: Balanced, HRV-led or Heart-rate-led.
Sleep
How long and how soundly you slept, against your own nights. Stages, time awake, wake-ups, and heart rate and HRV through the night.
Heart view
Press and hold to scrub through last night or the past 24 hours: heart rate and HRV together, with your sleep shaded in.
Overnight Vitals
Sleeping heart rate, HRV, wrist temperature, breathing rate and breathing disturbances, each against your own range. When several are off at once the night reads Strained, and NeuroRest lets you know.
Recovery Trend
Your 7-night HRV and lowest heart rate against the 60 nights before. Normal, High or Low, and how long it's lasted.
Daytime Balance
Stress, restorative and active minutes across your day, from your watch's heart rate and motion.
Habits
Tag alcohol, late meals, workouts, travel and anything else. NeuroRest shows what each one does to your next morning, and how confident it is.
Mindful sessions
A breathing pacer, with your heart rate and HRV during the session and how they compare with before. Sessions save to Apple Health.
Reports
A monthly report, a weekly summary, a PDF to share with your clinician, and a full export of your data.
Bedtime
A wind-down reminder built from the time you actually go to bed, not a target someone else picked.
Questions
Which Apple Watch do I need?
Any Apple Watch worn to bed with Sleep tracking turned on in the Health app. Series 12 and Ultra 4 add all-night HRV, which unlocks the overnight HRV curve and a few HRV views. Everything else works on older watches.
How long before I see scores?
Scores start after 14 nights and settle by 30. NeuroRest can use the nights your watch has already recorded, so if you've been sleeping with your watch you may see scores on day one.
How is Readiness calculated?
Last night's sleeping heart rate, lowest heart rate and overnight HRV, each compared with your own last 60 nights. Balanced weighs them evenly; HRV-led and Heart-rate-led lean on one side. No population averages.
Is my health data uploaded anywhere?
No. There is no account and no server. Your health data stays on your iPhone. Tags and settings can sync between your own devices through your private iCloud, which we never see.
How much does it cost?
NeuroRest is free. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
Do I need an Oura Ring or Whoop?
No. NeuroRest uses only what your Apple Watch records in Apple Health.
